Frosted Pecan Cookies
Cookie Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cup flour, sifted
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped pecans (or almonds)

Frosting Ingredients:
2 tsp. butter
1-1/2 cup powdered sugar
Milk or cream as needed
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

For cookies, cream butter, sugar and milk, then blend in flour. Shape into long rolls. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. Cut into 1/4" slices and bake at 350 degrees on ungreased pan for about 15 minutes (until bottom is medium brown). Frost when partially cooled.

For frosting, melt butter in pan until brown. Add small amount of milk or cream and powdered sugar to create smooth frosting. As frosting cools, it gets thicker. Frost cookies and dip in finely chopped pecans.
