3 quarts of popped corn
1/3 cup Karo syrup
1/4 cup butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
3/4 tsp. salt
Combine all ingredients except popcorn and vanilla. Bring to a boil. When mixture is brittle, add vanilla. May add food coloring. Add popcorn. Roll into balls. Place on waxed paper until cool.
Hint: Butter hands before balling popcorn to prevent burning hands.
